good reading this week but have to share something that I had found through some of the reading a few weeks ago abour paleo eating. Acorn squash porridge………. has anyone else tried this? I went to St Georges market and told the guy i wanted a squash to make porridge… he took some look at me! He didnt have an acorn one but did have a butternut one so I thought sure why not?! also i didnt have almond butter so used peanut butter instead, with coconut milk, blueberries and honey and cinnamon. potentially sounds yummy… in actual fact its disgusting!! lol maybe if I had the correct ingredients??!! coconut pancakes sound so much more appealing!!
Acorn squash would be hard to get over here..and it’s more of a winter thing. Try this one instead though http://originalwombman.blogspot.co.uk/2011/11/paleo-porridge.html it seems easier and less hassle.
